Spring Break 2012

Look who's Potty Trained! Olivia is officially a big girl it only took a "Potty Training Princess Garden". She did it!

We traveled to Seattle, WA and The Dalles, OR for spring break. We stayed with Andrew and Janetta and Miles it was great. The rain was definitely following us we drove 14 hours in heavy to moderate rain the entire way there, but on Monday we got a day of sunshine and saw Seattle. We visited the Space needle, The music Museum, and the Locks.
Tessa was a champion traveler no trouble from this 6 month old. She is a sweet baby.
This modern art at the Ballard Locks made us dream of the ocean in San Diego.
We searched for fish, collected flowers, rolled down a giant hill and found sea shells.
We even spotted a rainbow which was on our must see list for the trip.. . can you see it too?
We took the city bus down town it was a fun adventure, Livvy and Miles were cute holding hands on the busy street.

Tessa slept through most of the bus business. The city bus is very long and has an accordion section we sat there first but after a while we moved to the back of the bus because that's where the cool kids always sit.

Josh and his 3 little girls!

There was a huge fountain below the space needle we played in the sunshine.
 And rode the whale.
We touched the space needle.

The Tower of Musical instruments, mostly amazing guitars.
Andrew got us tickets to the Music Museum we liked the gigantic IMAX screen playing music videos and flashing lights as we entered the building. Ty and Miles Jammed out in the sound proof studio.

Back at the Boone House there were many fun activities.
The girls displaying their art. This board was popular and jumping in the bean bag provided outlets during the super rainy moments of the vacation.
Josh and Andrew headed to the General Priesthood Session.

We had a great trip and really loved visiting A,J and M. We are happy that we will only live 4 1/2 hours apart. We are thankful they let us stay with them and enjoy General Conference. Many great talks about teaching our children to understand the Gospel and building our own testimonies to remain truly converted and follow our Savior Jesus Christ's Example. I felt motivated and inspired to change things in my life and a sense of excitement for the future.

Jannetta gave me a hair cutting tutorial. She did an excellent job I'm not sure I can do the same but I loved learning.

A few other cool things about our trip, we saw a giant cement troll under the overpass bridge, Janetta made Ty a Star Wars bag and the girls felt princess finger puppets. She and Andrew made us feel so welcome. We had a cook out in the back yard and checked out Miles tree fort Andrew built. Ty and Miles played non stop and burned a lot of boy energy. We ate delicious food and enjoyed Tillamook Rocky Road Ice cream. Josh is a super fan of Tillamook anything so it is fortunate that we are moving to Tillamook country.

But all in all the ice cream cones in the van were just as pleasing to Liv, Riss, and Ty.

We checked out our future home in The Dalles, OR.

We know they do have ice cream and that is all we really need to know right now. We are excited for the move, the area is gorgeous. I don't know why I didn't take pictures but I will in the future you can bet on that. You will probably spot some waterfalls and cherry trees.
